On the night of Friday, November 14, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck an oil refinery in Russia’s Saratov region. Naval base facilities in Krasnodar Krai and a fuel storage site near Engels were also targeted, according to a statement from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
During the night, a strike was carried out on the Novorossiysk naval base in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai. The Ukrainian Defense Forces used Neptune missiles and various types of combat drones.
Damage was reported to the port infrastructure and the Sheskharis oil terminal, a launcher from the S-400 air defense system, and a missile storage facility. An explosion occurred, followed by a fire.
The Sheskharis terminal is one of the largest oil and petroleum product transshipment complexes in southern Russia. It supplies Russian military units involved in the war against Ukraine.
In addition, explosions occurred at the Saratov oil refinery in Russia’s Saratov region, where a fire broke out. The facility is also used to supply the Russian occupying forces.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces also struck infrastructure at the Kombinat Kristall plant near Engels in the Saratov region, where Russian fuel and lubricants are stored. The attack caused a fire on the site.

The governor of Krasnodar Krai confirmed the drone attack, noting that the Russian army "repelled strikes throughout the night."
Later, Russian media reported that oil exports from Novorossiysk were halted after the overnight drone strike, and a state of emergency was declared in the city.
