Ukrainian Defense Forces have struck an oil refinery in Russia's Saratov region, a drone storage site at the Saky airfield in occupied Crimea, and other Russian targets, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
Saratov oil refinery
According to the General Staff, during the night of November 28, an oil refinery in Russia's Saratov region was attacked. The facility produces more than 20 types of petroleum products — gasoline, fuel oil, diesel fuel, technical sulfur, and more. It is involved in supplying the Russian army's needs.
After a series of explosions at the target site, a fire broke out. The results of the strike are being clarified.
Airfield in Crimea
A drone storage site at the Saky airfield (Novofedorivka, occupied Crimea) was also attacked.
"According to preliminary information, several air defense assets were hit at the airfield, including Pantsir-S1 and Tor-M2. After suppressing the enemy's air defense systems, a hangar storing enemy Orion and Forpost drones was destroyed," the statement says.
Additionally, a command-and-control post and a Russian KamAZ military truck were hit by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The extent of the damage is being clarified.
Strikes on occupied territories
Personnel concentrations and fuel storage facilities in the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions were also struck. The consequences are still being clarified.
Earlier, Ukrainian drones and missiles struck several strategic facilities and enemy targets in Russia overnight. Aircraft and oil refineries were among the targets hit.
