The Ukrainian military struck an S-400 air defense system, as well as the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant, which is involved in the production of large-caliber ammunition for the Russian Armed Forces, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Specifically, in the area of the village of Hvardiiske, temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, the destruction of a launcher from the S-400 Triumph air defense missile system has been confirmed.

Additionally, in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant, which is involved in the production of large-caliber ammunition, was struck. A large-scale fire was reported on the plant’s premises.

In addition, yesterday, March 29, strikes on a Russian military convoy were recorded near the village of Novosvitlivka, a temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region.

Over the past day, a series of strikes were also carried out on Russian command posts and areas where its forces are concentrated. Specifically, a drone command post was struck in the Huliaipole area of the Zaporizhzhia region.

In the vicinity of the village of Nova Tavolzhanka, Belgorod region, Russia, a strike on an area where enemy personnel were concentrated was recorded. Russian casualties and the extent of the damage are being assessed.

On March 28, it was reported that the Yaroslavl oil refinery, which is strategically important for supplying fuel to Russian troop formations, had been struck.

This was preceded by an attack on March 26 on the Kirish oil refinery in the Leningrad region, one of the three largest refineries in Russia, which caused a massive fire there.

In addition, on March 23, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the Transneft oil terminal, the port of Primorsk, and the Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim refinery, crippling Russia’s export capabilities and domestic refining capacity.
