Ukrainian forces hit Russian oil depot and military supply warehouse – General Staff

Ukrainian Defense Forces struck an oil depot in Russia's Belgorod region and a military supply warehouse, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Oskolneftesnab oil depot near the village of Kotel in the Belgorod region was hit by Ukrainian Armed Forces overnight on December 7. The depot is involved in supplying fuel to Russian forces," the General Staff stated.
A large-scale fire has been reported at the facility after fuel storage tanks were struck.
In addition, in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region, a military supply warehouse of the Russian 20th Motorized Rifle Division subunit was struck. The extent of damage in both cases is still being assessed.
The results of previous strikes also evidence that at the strategic reserve oil depot Temp in Russia's Yaroslavl region, two RVS-5000 vertical storage tanks were damaged.
Strikes by Ukrainian Armed Forces on Russian infrastructure
On January 6, long-range drones from the Alpha Special Operations Center of the Security Service attacked a missile and artillery arsenal and an oil depot inside Russia.
In addition, on January 1, the Ilsky oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar region was hit. The strike sparked a fire at the facility.
The oil treatment facility Almetyevska in the Republic of Tatarstan was also struck. The target was hit; the results are still being clarified.
Earlier, on January 3 and 4, Moscow airports were closed for two days in a row due to attacks by unidentified drones. On the second day, approximately 200 flights were delayed in the Russian capital due to the incident.
