Long-range drones from the Alpha Special Operations Center of the Security Service attacked a missile and artillery arsenal and an oil depot on Russian territory, citing SBU sources.

A large-scale fire broke out at arsenal No. 100 of the Main Missile and Artillery Administration in the Neysky district of the Kostroma region of Russia. Powerful explosions were heard at this warehouse as a result of the detonation of ammunition. Local authorities began evacuating the population from nearby settlements.

This arsenal supplied ammunition to lower-level depots in the western and central regions.

SBU drones also struck the Gerkon Plus oil depot in the village of Streletskiye Khutory in the Lipetsk region of Russia. This oil depot supplied petroleum products to three regions: Tambov, Voronezh, and Lipetsk.

Drone strikes on Russia

Military and energy facilities in Russia have recently been increasingly targeted by drone attacks.

On January 1, the Ilsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar region of Russia was attacked. As a result of the strike, a fire was reported on the territory of the facility.

The Almetyevsk oil processing plant in the Republic of Tatarstan was also attacked. The target was hit, and the results are being clarified.

On January 3 and 4, Moscow's airports were closed for two days in a row due to attacks by unknown drones. On the second day, about 200 flights were delayed due to the incident.

On New Year's Eve, the Armed Forces' unmanned systems struck 10 military and infrastructure targets deep inside Russia and in the territory temporarily occupied by the enemy.
