Ukrainian soldiers hit a lot of Russian equipment near Chasiv Yar with their drones. Russians were left without means of communication and anti-tank defense, according to the Khortytsia operational and strategic grouping of troops.

The soldiers of the 5th separate assault brigade of Kyiv struck Russian personnel and equipment with FPV drones in the Kramatorsk sector.

"Ukrainian defenders destroyed a lot of Russian surveillance and communications equipment, anti-tank defense, and personnel shelters in one fell swoop," the Khortytsia unit said.

As a result of accurate Ukrainian strikes, the following were damaged and destroyed:

  • a Kornet anti-tank missile system
  • a long-range surveillance camera
  • a portable ground reconnaissance station Credo-M1
  • antennas and communication equipment
  • shelters with Russian personnel.

As a result of the successful actions of the attack aircraft, the enemy lost critical elements for combat operations and observation of Ukrainian forces.

"Everyday combat work is without illusions, without compromises," the military emphasized and showed the success of the soldiers in a video.

Kornet ATGM

Kornet is an anti-tank missile system developed by the Tula Instrument-Making Design Bureau. It was developed based on the Reflex tank guided weapon system, retaining its main layout solutions.

It is designed to engage tanks and other armored targets, including those equipped with modern dynamic protection. A modification of the Kornet-D ATGM can also engage air targets.

Successes of Ukrainian drones

Recently, pilots of the Black Raven unmanned aerial vehicle battalion of the Kholodnyi Yar Brigade destroyed Russian personnel and equipment in the most difficult conditions in the Kramatorsk sector. The drone operators destroyed a Russian engineering vehicle, IMR-1, ammunition depots, a mortar, and infantry.

In addition, pilots and aerial reconnaissance men of the Phoenix company of unmanned aerial vehicles tracked down and destroyed Russian equipment with attack drones in the Kharkiv region. The FPV drones destroyed an enemy tank and two Msta-S self-propelled artillery systems.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian troops destroyed three units of Russian armored vehicles at once. The operators of the Korsar battalion of unmanned aerial vehicles conducted accurate kamikaze strikes on a Russian tank and 2 infantry fighting vehicles.
