Ukrainian soldiers destroy enemy tank and two Msta-S howitzers in Kharkiv region

Ukrainian soldiers struck at Russian equipment in the Kharkiv region. As a result, Russian losses increased by one more tank and two artillery pieces, according to the Telegram channel of the Khortytsia operational and strategic group of troops.
The pilots and aerial reconnaissance specialists of the Feniks strike UAV company once again demonstrated their skills. The unit’s fighters tracked and destroyed Russian equipment using combat drones.
"In the Kharkiv region, the pilots and recon operators of the Feniks strike UAV company precisely targeted and destroyed an enemy tank and two Msta-S self-propelled artillery systems with FPV drones," the military group reported.
The Joint Forces Operation (JFO) showcased the work of these Ukrainian "hunters" of enemy tanks and artillery in a video.
"Operators of the Feniks unmanned aerial systems are effectively eliminating infantry, weaponry, and enemy armored vehicles,” emphasized the Khortytsia operational and strategic group of troops.
What is known about the Msta-S howitzer
The Msta-S is a Soviet-era 152 mm self-propelled artillery system developed in the 1970s. It is designed to destroy enemy positions, support ground troops, and engage armored vehicles. The howitzer can fire at a distance of up to 30 km when using specialized ammunition.
The main advantage of the Msta-S is its high mobility, thanks to a tracked chassis that allows for rapid movement across various types of terrain. This howitzer remains in service in several countries that continue to use Soviet-era artillery systems.
Successes of Ukrainian drone operators
Recently, in the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian forces destroyed three units of Russian armored vehicles.
Operators from the Korsar strike UAV battalion delivered precise kamikaze drone strikes on an enemy tank and two infantry fighting vehicles.
Losses were also inflicted by fighters of the Kryla Omehy (Wings of Omega), a special unit of the National Guard’s Center for Special Operations. In one of the key frontline areas, their strike drone operators destroyed a howitzer and enemy communication equipment.
Additionally, Ukrainian drones halted an assault by Russian troops who attempted to reach Ukrainian positions on motorcycles in the Toretsk direction. To prevent any repeated attempts, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed the enemy’s motor vehicles.
