Ukrainian forces strike Russian engineering equipment, ammo depots in Donetsk region

Ukrainian drones delivered a powerful strike against Russian troops and military equipment in one of the key frontline directions, according to the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Grouping of Forces.
Pilots from the Black Raven unmanned systems battalion of the Kholodnyi Yar Brigade destroyed Russian personnel and equipment under extremely challenging conditions in the Kramatorsk direction, Donetsk region.
According to the grouping, drone operators took out a Russian IMR-1 obstacle-clearing vehicle, ammunition depots, a mortar, and enemy infantry.
The battalion shared a video showcasing the precise strikes.
"The latest footage from the battalion’s pilots features rarely captured hits: an IMR-1 obstacle-clearing vehicle, trucks, remote piloting stations, ammo depots, and of course, Russian personnel," the battalion noted.
What is the IMR-1 obstacle-clearing vehicle
The IMR-1 is the first Soviet-made engineering obstacle-clearing vehicle based on the T-55 tank chassis. It marked the beginning of this class of military machines in the former Soviet Union.
Essentially an armored bulldozer with a manipulator arm, it was developed by the Omsk Transport Engineering Design Bureau.
The IMR-1 is designed to clear paths for military columns across various terrains, both in the forest and in the city, and to make passages in rubble. It can also perform earthworks like digging and filling trenches.
Ongoing success of the Ukrainian drones
Just yesterday, drone pilots and aerial reconnaissance specialists of the Feniks strike UAV company destroyed Russian equipment in the Kharkiv region. Using FPV strike drones, they successfully eliminated a Russian tank and two Msta-S self-propelled howitzers.
Meanwhile, on the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian forces recently destroyed three units of Russian armored vehicles. Operators from the Korsar UAV battalion used kamikaze drones to strike a tank and two infantry fighting vehicles.
In addition, Ukrainian drones halted a Russian assault in the Toretsk direction, where enemy troops attempted to reach Ukrainian positions using motorcycles. To prevent further attempts, the motorcycles were destroyed by drone strikes.
