Paratroopers have destroyed a column of enemy ATVs in the Pokrovsk area. All of the enemy’s plans are being systematically thwarted by the Defense Forces, according to a Telegram post from the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade.
"Sicheslav pilots destroyed a column of enemy ATVs in the Pokrovsk area," the brigade stated.
The command of the 25th Brigade reported that, thanks to coordinated actions by aviation and paratroopers, the enemy’s attempts to carry out their plans are being systematically thwarted.
"The enemy is constantly devising new plans, but all of them are shattered against our defenses. Every day we deliver a strong counterstrike and maintain control over our territory," the soldiers added.
The enemy actively uses mobile units, including ATVs, in attempts to launch rapid attacks on Ukrainian positions.
Pokrovsk direction
This area remains one of the key fronts in eastern Ukraine due to the strategic importance of the settlement and its logistical routes. Over the past few weeks, Russian forces have intensified pressure in the region, attempting to break through Ukrainian defenses and disrupt the supply of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier, the Eastern Group of Forces reported an increase in enemy assault operations and the active use of infantry supported by artillery.
At the same time, the Defense Forces continue to hold their positions, inflicting losses on the enemy and preventing any deep penetration into Ukrainian defenses.
Ukrainian units maintain control over the northern part of Pokrovsk and are holding the enemy back on the approaches to Myrnohrad.
Previously, the Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, Oleksandr Pivnenko, spoke about the situation in Pokrovsk, emphasizing that Ukrainian forces are amassing units for counter-assault operations. However, adverse weather conditions are significantly complicating combat operations.
Russian troops have not stopped attempting to capture Pokrovsk, but after becoming bogged down in urban fighting, they were forced to change their assault tactics, according to the commander of the 7th Assault Ranger Corps of the Airborne Forces, Yevhen Lasiichuk.
The 7th Corps fighters also released rare footage from the frontline, showing the conditions in which Ukrainian defenders daily repel the advances of Russian forces.
