Ukrainian drones hit Slavyansk oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Krai - source
Ukrainian drones attacked an oil refinery plant in the Krasnodar Krai of Russia overnight on March 17, says RBC-Ukraine source.
According to the source, tonight the Security Service of Ukraine, along with Special Operations Forces and UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, hit with drones another Russian refinery plant, namely Slavyansk.
"It is already possible to speak of a successful result - a large fire was recorded in the area of atmospheric columns, which were the main target," the source noted.
The interlocutor adds that the SSU continues to implement a strategy to undermine the economic potential of the Russian Federation and reduce the flow of oil dollars that the enemy is directing to the war effort.
Overall, SSU drones have successfully attacked 12 oil refineries in Russia recently.
Explosions in Russia on the night of March 17
It was an uneasy night in Russia. Explosions were heard in at least seven regions of the Russian Federation, including the Moscow region.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin stated that allegedly two drones were shot down near Domodedovo airport. According to him, they were coming towards the Russian capital. Flights were restricted in three Moscow airports in the morning.
Also, in the Krasnodar Krai of Russia, an oil refinery plant was on fire in Slavyansk-on-Kuban.

Recently, a drone also attacked one of the largest oil refineries in Yaroslavl.
Sources from RBC-Ukraine also reported that SSU drones hit an oil refinery in Tuapse, resulting in a powerful fire.
