Ukrainian drones destroy Russian infantry in Pokrovsk sector

Ukraine's 5th separate assault brigade of Kyiv destroyed Russian infantry that tried to cross the field in the Pokrovsk direction.
“Amid the day, our bombers successfully stopped Russia's attempt to cross the field, the Russian infantry thought they could move with impunity through our lands, but received a clear answer,” the brigade writes.
Situation at front
Over the past day, January 2, more than 130 combat engagements took place on the frontline. Russia exerted the greatest pressure in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions.
Also yesterday, Russia's personnel losses amounted to 1,080 soldiers. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost more than 793,000 soldiers. In particular, yesterday the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed:
- 1 tank;
- 14 armored combat vehicles and more.
Meanwhile, the National Guard of Ukraine showed a video of repulsing a Russian assault on January 1.
