Ukrainian delegation visits US for talks with Trump team

The Ukrainian delegation to the United States will hold a series of meetings with US President Donald Trump's team and representatives of both parties to discuss defense support, sanctions against Russia, and other important topics, according to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak.
“The Ukrainian delegation, headed by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko, has arrived in Washington, DC. The team of the Ministry of Defense and the Office is also with us,” Yermak said.
He adds that the delegation plans to promote important issues for Ukraine during the visit.
“Our agenda is quite extensive. We are planning to talk about defense support and the situation on the battlefield, strengthening sanctions against Russia, in particular, the bill by Senator (Lindsey - ed.) Graham. We will also discuss the Agreement on the establishment of the Investment Fund for Reconstruction, which was signed earlier,” he wrote.
Other topics include the returning deported Ukrainian children, Russian propaganda on the church, etc.
“There will be a lot of meetings with representatives of both parties who support Ukraine, the team of US President Donald Trump. We will talk about the results of the meetings in Istanbul, as well as how Russia is delaying the ceasefire and negotiations for the sake of war,” Yermak emphasized.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine's sources reported that the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, had left for the United States.
Yesterday, June 2, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine was negotiating economic and defense agreements with the United States. Ukraine wants to offer the United States free trade agreements as well.
