Ukrainian border guards down four Russian drones with anti-drone rifles
Ukrainian border guards destroyed four drones of Russian troops in the Zaporizhzhia direction. The fighters will use one of them against the Russians, according to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
"Border guards neutralized 4 enemy FPV drones in the direction of Zaporizhzhia," the message reads.
As the border guards noted, under the action of the anti-drone gun, three drones lost control and detonated during landing.
"Another one remained undamaged and will be used by our soldiers after minor maintenance," the border troops added.
Losses of Russian drones in the war
On the last day, the Ukrainian defense forces destroyed three enemy drones. Since the beginning of the war, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have landed more than 5,500 Russian drones.
At the same time, as intelligence representative Andrii Yusov said earlier in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, Russia can now produce several dozen kamikaze drones monthly. But these numbers are far from what was planned. Also, the Kremlin continues to develop drone production in Tatarstan.
