The group carried out an attack on a Russian communications system, weakening the Russian electronic warfare capabilities in the Kherson region, according to the partisan movement Atesh on Telegram.

Near the village of Strilkove on the Arabat Spit, an Atesh agent disabled a transformer cabinet on a communications tower.

The tower itself hosted electronic warfare (EW) antennas, which are now out of service.

Communications and electronic countermeasures in this area are now virtually nonexistent, creating an aerial window for drone strikes against the Russians in Crimea.

“The actions of Atesh agents demonstrate that even remote and seemingly protected locations remain vulnerable. Pressure on infrastructure continues to undermine the capabilities of the Russian forces and deprives them of a sense of security in their rear areas,” the movement said in a statement.

Successful sabotage operations by the Atesh movement

Earlier reports stated that Atesh agents carried out a successful sabotage operation in the capital of Udmurtia. In Izhevsk, a transformer substation supplying power to key workshops at the Bummash metallurgical plant was disabled by arson.

This enterprise is an important part of Russia’s military-industrial complex, providing billets and special alloys for weapons and heavy equipment.

The partisans also targeted Russian railway logistics in the Kupiansk direction, destroying a locomotive used to transport military cargo and supply Russian forces near Kupiansk. Disabling the locomotive disrupted train formation and delayed the shipment of equipment and weapons.

In addition, Atesh agents carried out sabotage in the Rostov region. Near Rostov-on-Don, they set fire to relay cabinets at a major railway junction, effectively paralyzing the operation of a logistics hub that supplies Russian forces on the southern fronts.
