Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminate over 300 Russians and destroy 5 ammo depots on the Tavria frontline

Ukrainian military forces eliminated 308 Russian invaders over the past day, as well as destroyed 5 ammo depots and 2 command posts of occupiers on the Tavria front, reports the United Press Center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction.
It is reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation on the Melitopol front.
In the Robotyne direction, Ukrainian Armed Forces achieved success, consolidating their positions, inflicting artillery fire on identified enemy targets, and conducting counter-battery measures.
During the past day, the enemy carried out 2 missile strikes and 21 airstrikes, engaging in 16 combat clashes. Furthermore, the Russians conducted 711 shelling attacks using tanks, rocket artillery systems, and conventional artillery.
The threat of the enemy's use of missile weaponry and drones against military and civilian infrastructure throughout Ukraine remains high.
In the Avdiivka direction, under heavy enemy aviation and artillery fire, our defenders continue to halt the Russian forces' advance in the Avdiivka region of еру Donetsk reпion. Artillery bombardments affected the settlements of Oleksandrivka, Stepove, Avdiivka, Sieverne, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
In the Maryinka direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to deter the advance of Russian forces in the Maryinka and Novomykhailivka of the Donetsk region. The enemy conducted airstrikes in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka. Artillery shelling affected settlements including Zhelanne Druhe, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Pobieda, Yelyzavetivka, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy carried out an airstrike in Staromaiorske of the Donetsk region. Artillery shelling affected settlements including Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Novoukrainka, Velyka Novosilka, Blahodatne, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy conducted airstrikes in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. More than 30 settlements, including Huliaypilske, Charivne, Yehorivka, Stepove, Lobkove, and Piatykhatky in the Zaporizhzhia region, suffered from enemy artillery shelling.
Enemy losses
Meanwhile, the units of missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces of the Tavria front performed 1290 fire missions during the day.
The enemy's losses in killed and wounded amounted to 308 individuals (139 killed and 169 wounded).
Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed 41 units of Russian military equipment, including 1 tank, 8 armored personnel carriers, 8 artillery systems, and mortars, 1 multiple rocket launcher, 1 heavy flamethrower system "Solntsepek", 2 anti-tank missile systems, 3 unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), 15 units of automotive, and 2 specialized equipment.
The military also destroyed 5 ammo depots and 2 command posts of occupiers.
Russian plundering in occupied territories
Russian invaders continue to actively engage in plundering and abusing the peaceful Ukrainian population in temporarily occupied territories.
For example, units of Russian occupiers from the Republic of Buryatia arrived in the city of Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia region, systematically terrorizing local residents, checking them for documents proving their right to reside in their own homes.
In cases where invaders discover that residents lack ownership or residence rights documents, they confiscate all property and housing under the guise of "confiscation," and also assault citizens who express dissatisfaction and protest.

According to the General Staff, Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Tuesday, August 22, amounted to 410 occupiers, with a total of 258,340 military personnel lost since the beginning of the invasion. Furthermore, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 31 artillery systems, 27 armored personnel carriers, and 4 enemy tanks.
