Ukrainian Air Force releases video of bridge destruction in Kursk region
Ukrainian aviation is taking an active part in the fighting in the Kursk direction. Today, a bridge over one of the rivers in the region was destroyed, according to the Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk.
"The Air Force aviation is actively participating in combat operations on the Kursk direction," wrote Oleshchuk.
According to him, Ukrainian pilots are delivering precise strikes on enemy strongpoints, concentrations of equipment, as well as logistical centers and supply routes of the enemy.
“I am grateful to the pilots and everyone who ensures the combat work of the aviation,” he added.

Today, Russian Telegram channels reported that Ukrainian forces had destroyed a bridge over the Seym River near the village of Glushkovo in the Kursk region, which is a key logistical artery in the area.
According to the Russian media, the Ukrainian Armed Forces supposedly used HIMARS for the strikes. However, later, Oleshchuk stated that aviation was used instead.
Additionally, Russian military correspondents claimed that Ukraine is "striking a bridge in the village of Zvane and intends to capture a section of the Glushkovsky district along the Seym River."
Since Tuesday, August 6, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been conducting a special operation in the Kursk region. During this time, Ukraine has already taken control of 82 settlements in the Kursk region, covering an area of 1,150 square kilometers.
Today, the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported that Ukrainian forces have advanced another 1 - 3 kilometers in the Kursk region. He also mentioned that Major General Eduard Moskalev had already assumed the duties of the commandant of the Kursk region.
