Ukraine will always have means to defeat Russia: Head of OP refutes Russian fakes
Claims that Ukraine allegedly lacks resources to combat Russian aggression are deemed unreliable, according to the head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office, Andrii Yermak.
He said that at present, Russians are spreading disinformation about the war, including the availability of ammunition and Ukraine's ability to continue winning on the battlefield.
"The answer to this is quite simple - Ukraine will always have the means to defeat the Russian enemy. Russians indeed want to freeze the war because they are weaker than before," said the head of the Presidential Office.
However, Yermak emphasized that Ukraine's goal is the liberation of its territories. He highlighted the successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the frontlines and the strength of the Western coalition, despite Russian falsehoods. Furthermore, Ukraine is working with allies to strengthen sanctions.
"Russians will not achieve their goals, no matter how many resources they spend on creating an alternative reality through their propaganda machine," reassured Yermak.
Preceding events
There were numerous claims that the United States would no longer be able to support Ukraine's fight against Russia after the temporary government budget in the U.S. was passed without assistance for Ukraine.
However, the Pentagon currently has the ability to provide Ukraine with weaponry worth $5.4 billion from its own stocks, and the administration of U.S. President Joe Biden is confident that Congress will approve new funding for aid to Ukraine.
It was also reported that the United Kingdom is running out of defense equipment that can be transferred to Ukraine.
