Ukraine will participate in this year's World Economic Forum in Davos. The Ukrainian delegation will be represented at the highest level, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha says at a joint press conference with the Albanian Foreign Minister.

"The focus will definitely be on rebuilding Ukraine, protecting our energy sector, security, and security guarantees," Sybiha says.

At the same time, the Minister does not answer whether an agreement on the reconstruction of Ukraine worth $800 billion, which could be signed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump, would be signed at the Davos forum. However, he said that meetings with American partners were planned.

"We are currently in contact to finalize the format and results developed with the American side," he adds.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump may sign an agreement on the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine at the end of January, with a total value of $800 billion.

Media sources assured that Zelenskyy and Trump would sign the agreement at the World Economic Forum, which will take place on January 19-23 in Davos. The plan is designed for 10 years and provides for the reconstruction of Ukraine after the war and the restart of its economy.

On December 30, 2025, Zelenskyy confirmed that he had discussed the recovery plan with Trump during his visit to Washington. However, he did not mention any possible dates for its signing.
