The Ukrainian delegation has already arrived in Türkiye. Part of the negotiating team is currently in Ankara for a separate meeting with the Turkish side, according to a source familiar with the matter.

A part of the Ukrainian delegation is in Ankara, while the other is in Istanbul, depending on the tasks assigned.

The first round of talks may take place in Ankara with the Turkish side, without the Russian side. After that, a meeting with the Russian delegation is expected in Istanbul.

Third round of Ukraine-Russia talks: What we know

In recent months, Ukraine and Russia have already held two rounds of negotiations. The third round is expected to take place today, July 23. Meanwhile, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has approved the composition of the Ukrainian delegation, led by National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov.

According to the RBC-Ukraine's source, the Ukrainian side plans to discuss a possible meeting between President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The Kremlin, however, claims such a meeting is only possible after the draft memorandums between Kyiv and Moscow are coordinated.

More details on what to expect from the third round of negotiations can be found in a comment to RBC-Ukraine by political analyst Maksym Nesvitailov.
