On July 8, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) successfully struck the Cherkasy production and dispatch station in the Republic of Bashkortostan. The SBU has already disclosed details of the operation.

The Cherkasy production and dispatch station is located approximately 1,500 kilometers from Ukraine’s state border.

At least 8 SBU's drones struck the facility. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out on the station’s grounds near the tank farm and production facilities.

The Cherkasy oil production and dispatch station is one of the key facilities in the Transneft-Ural system. This station is involved in the process of receiving, accumulating, storing, and transporting light petroleum products from the Ufa oil refining complex to the main petroleum product pipelines.

Nearly 2 million metric tons of petroleum products are pumped through this facility each year. Its tank farm consists of 27 tanks with a total capacity of over 385,000 cubic meters.

Such operations by Ukrainian forces significantly complicate the supply of petroleum products to central and eastern regions of Russia and also negatively impact fuel logistics.

"The SBU is operating throughout Russia, and there are no longer any safe regions for the occupier, even deep in the rear," the SBU emphasizes.

The SBU also struck an airbase, a port in Crimea, and other targets of the Russian Armed Forces.

Russian oil refineries, tankers, an airfield, and bridges were hit by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Furthermore, SBU fighters successfully attacked another 9 Russian shadow fleet tankers.
