Ukraine slams Orbán's anti-Zelenskyy propaganda as 'stupid, boring, and unconvincing'

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine commented on the use of caricatures of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy by Hungary's pro-Russian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. Orbán's actions were described as "stupid, boring, and unconvincing," according to Heorhii Tykhyi, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
"Instead of explaining to the Hungarian public how they screwed up the economy, the Hungarian government is busy drawing cartoons with the Ukrainian president. Looks stupid, boring, and unconvincing," wrote Heorhii Tykhyi.

Orbán draws cartoons and rages
Recently, caricature images of President Zelenskyy have appeared in Hungary, used by Viktor Orbán for anti-Ukrainian propaganda. The latest "creation" by Orbán's camp is a poster featuring cartoonish figures with the faces of Zelenskyy and Hungarian opposition leader Péter Magyar, along with the caption: "As alike as two peas in a pod."
This is not Orbán's first attempt to use Zelenskyy's image for propaganda purposes. Earlier, political billboards appeared in Hungary with the slogan: "They'll admit Ukraine into the EU, but we'll pay the price! Vote 'no'!" The posters included caricatures of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Zelenskyy, and European People's Party President Manfred Weber.
Zelenskyy was outraged by Orbán's use of his image in Hungarian propaganda. The Ukrainian president voiced his frustration in an interview with Hungarian media, emphasizing that he never gave Orbán permission to use his likeness.
For context, Orbán has long been a vocal opponent of Ukraine and a sympathizer of Russian President Vladimir Putin. He consistently criticizes arms deliveries to Ukraine and sanctions against Russia, claiming they "harm the European economy," including Hungary's. He has also blocked the launch of EU accession talks with Ukraine.
