Ukraine seeks to acquire Tomahawk missiles: New details of Zelenskyy's victory plan
Journalists have learned about one detail of the secret part of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's victory plan. Kyiv wants to obtain Tomahawk missiles, NYT reports.
According to the news agency, in one part that was not made public, Zelenskyy proposed a "nonnuclear deterrence package."
In it, Ukraine seeks to obtain Tomahawk missiles, which is described as a "totally unfeasible request," said a senior US official.
The NYT notes that US officials privately expressed some outrage over Zelenskyy's victory plan, calling it unrealistic and almost entirely dependent on Western assistance.

What is known about Tomahawk
The Tomahawk is a family of American subsonic cruise missiles manufactured by Raytheon. Tomahawk is a long-range strategic and tactical missile that travels at very low altitudes while navigating the terrain. The missile is produced in various modifications, which include different warheads (including nuclear), launches from various platforms, and more.
After the signing of the 1987 agreement between the US and the USSR on the elimination of intermediate and shorter-range missiles, ground launchers and ground-based missiles were removed from service and destroyed in 1991 according to the directive of US President George Bush.
This missile has a range that is seven times greater than that of the long-range missile systems ATACMS, which Ukraine received this year.
Zelenskyy's victory plan
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the Verkhovna Rada on October 16. There, he presented Ukraine's plan for victory in the war with Russia.
The document consists of five points and three secret appendices. In particular, the secret portion has not been disclosed publicly anywhere.
As MP Yevhenia Kravchuk mentioned in a comment for the RBC-Ukraine YouTube channel, the information from the secret appendices of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's victory plan has been communicated to the closest partners. However, it cannot be published.
