Vadym Sukharevskyi has commented on his resignation as Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, saying the reason was a difference in vision between him and the leadership, according to the Command of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Sukharevskyi noted that he led the Unmanned Systems Forces during their first year of formation.

"At this stage, however, our visions for the future development of the USF differ from those of the leadership. I believe that in this situation, the honest and professional decision is to end my tenure as Commander of the USF. I leave the position with deep faith in everyone who will continue to carry this idea forward," he added.

He also assured that he remains in service and will continue his duties in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Sukharevskyi has been appointed Deputy Commander of the Operational Command East.

Meanwhile, Robert "Madyar" Brovdi has taken over as the new Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces.
