The Ministry of Defense has released photos of new mobile maintenance systems for American F-16 fighter jets. The systems were handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by representatives of the Come Back Alive foundation, according to the ministry's press service.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has received two technical hubs for servicing aircraft and aviation weaponry, along with one mission planning system.

According to the statement, the newly delivered mobile units are expected to address mobility challenges and enable deployment to aircraft that have made emergency maneuvers or landings. Additionally, they are designed to speed up maintenance processes and reduce the number of personnel required for servicing.

On July 22, the Ukrainian Air Force received its first set of unique mobile maintenance systems for servicing F-16 fighter jets. These systems will enable the military to utilize the aircraft as efficiently as possible during wartime.

Notably, the systems are entirely Ukrainian-made. The Come Back Alive foundation developed, manufactured, and delivered the complexes as part of an initiative called Project 61. These systems significantly enhance the mobility of Ukraine's air operations — crucial in a war environment where Russian forces actively target aircraft and airfields.
