Ukraine's MoD announces Ukraine-NATO Council meeting

Ukraine's Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov, held a phone conversation with the UK's Secretary of State for Defence, John Healey. They discussed the current situation on the front line and plans for the upcoming Ukraine-NATO Council meeting, according to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Umerov shared that during the phone conversation, they discussed the current situation on the front line and Ukraine's immediate defense priorities.
"Special attention was given to preparations for the upcoming Ukraine-NATO Council meeting. This is a key format for strengthening our cooperation with allies and coordinating further steps in the security sector," the minister emphasized.
Umerov also thanked the United Kingdom for its constant support and effective dialogue, noting that together they are working to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities and security.

In November of last year, Ukraine convened an emergency meeting with NATO.
Participants discussed Russia's use of a new ballistic missile. On November 21, Russia launched a new ballistic missile at Ukraine for the first time.
