The Сoalition of the Willing meeting, scheduled for November 4 in Spain, is a regular gathering at the level of political directors. There is nothing secret about it, as some media outlets have reported, stated Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi during a briefing on October 31.

In response to a question about the meeting in Spain, which some claimed would be secret, Tykhyi said that there would be nothing secret about the meeting. Overall, he described the media coverage as an incorrect presentation of the information.

"There is an incorrect presentation of information from the Spanish newspaper. This is a regular meeting at the level of political directors, with the appropriate agenda; there is nothing secret or extraordinary about it. We are in contact with the Spanish side regarding the preparation of this meeting and will remain in contact regarding its outcomes," he explained.

The Spanish outlet El Mundo reported on October 31 that the new Сoalition of the Willing meeting will take place in Madrid, but in a closed format. Representatives from 35 countries will attend. Participants will work without mobile phones and will not disclose details.

The previous coalition meeting was held on October 24. Following it, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced that allies had prepared a plan for Ukraine, which is expected to be implemented by the end of 2025. Starmer also called on other countries to stop purchasing Russian resources.

Additionally, French President Emmanuel Macron stated during the Сoalition of the Willing meeting that participating countries should support Ukraine's energy resilience and increase pressure on Russia. Following the meeting, it was announced that Ukraine will receive additional aircraft and ammunition for air defense systems.
