Russia on Sunday, November 17, carried out one of its largest airstrikes. This is the response from Russian leader Vladimir Putin to those who called and visited him, according to Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on X.

He emphasized that today Russian occupiers launched one of their most massive strikes — drones and missiles hit cities, civilians, and critical infrastructure.

"This is the real response from the war criminal Putin to those who have called and visited him recently," Sybiha noted.

The Foreign Minister added that Ukraine needs peace through force, not appeasement.

Massive Russian attack

On the night of November 17, Russia launched a massive strike on Ukraine. Starting from the evening of November 16, the occupiers released kamikaze drones. Early in the morning, the Russians launched missiles from long-range bombers, sea-based carriers, and MiG-31K aircraft.

Explosions were heard in Kyiv and many regions of Ukraine. Enemy missiles reached the western regions.

Energy facilities were under attack, and several regions reported hits on critical infrastructure.

As a result of the enemy attack, emergency power outages were implemented across Ukraine.
