Russia targets Ukraine's power infrastructure, says Energy Ministry
Russian terrorists are targeting energy infrastructure across the country with missile strikes, prompting emergency power outages, informs Ukraine's Minister of Energy, Herman Halushchenko.
According to him, the enemy is striking power generation and transmission facilities across Ukraine with missiles.
"The transmission system operator has urgently implemented emergency power outages. Where possible, rescue teams and energy workers are already addressing the aftermath. Light will prevail!" Halushchenko stated.
Massive missile strikes
On the morning of Sunday, November 17, Russia launched a large-scale assault on Ukraine, beginning with kamikaze drones followed by missiles of various types. Explosions were reported in numerous regions and cities.
Emergency power outages are being implemented across the country to stabilize the energy system.
