Dobropillia counteroffensive operation

Since September, Ukrainian soldiers have been continuing a counteroffensive near Dobropillia. According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, defenders have managed to liberate over 180 square kilometers of territory from Russian troops.

At the same time, according to the general, more than 210 square kilometers of territory have been cleared of Russian saboteurs.

On October 10, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the Russian army attempted a counterattack near Dobropillia. The enemy tried to break through and rescue Russian soldiers who had been encircled.

According to Zelenskyy, the Russian forces suffered losses and retreated. They did not achieve their objectives.
