Ukraine's forces hit three Russian missile plants

Ukraine's Defense Forces struck three more enterprises involved in the production of Russian missiles. They are the Iskra Plant, the Yefremov Synthetic Rubber Plant and Voronezhsintezkauchuk, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Iskra Plant was hit
On the night of September 25, the Research and Development enterprise Iskra Plant in Ulyanovsk, Ulyanovsk region, Russia, was hit.
The enterprise is part of the Almaz-Antey Aerospace Defense Concern and is a military plant. According to the General Staff, it specializes in the production of semiconductor devices and component parts for defense industry enterprises. Iskra produces:
- component parts for manufacturers of radio-electronic equipment,
- measuring equipment,
- communications equipment,
- special-purpose equipment.
As part of the defense industry cooperation network, the plant is involved in the production of:
- Kh-59M2/M2A guided air-launched missiles,
- the 72V6 combat vehicle of the Pantsir-S1 surface-to-air missile and gun system and its modifications.
Two more defense industry enterprises were hit
In addition, the following facilities were hit:
- Yefremov Synthetic Rubber Plant in Yefremov, Tula region,
- Voronezhsintezkauchuk in Voronezh, Voronezh region.
"Both enterprises are involved in the production of solid rocket fuel, including for Iskander ballistic missiles," the General Staff said.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that Ukrainian forces struck the Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez and Novoshakhtinsk oil refineries in Russia's Rostov region.
In addition, Ukraine has updated intelligence on Russia's production of ballistic missiles and its plans to scale up production. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will counter these efforts.
