Two Russian oil refineries erupt in flames after Ukrainian strikes

Ukraine's Defense Forces struck two Russian oil refineries and enemy radar stations on September 24 and overnight on September 25, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian defenders struck the Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez oil refinery, located in the city of Perm. A fire was reported at the facility.
The facility's refining capacity is approximately 13 million tons of oil per year. The refinery produces fuel and other petroleum products and is also actively involved in meeting the needs of the Russian armed forces for fuel.
The Defense Forces also attacked the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery in the Rostov region, where a fire also broke out following the strikes.
The facility's refining capacity reaches about 7.5 million tons of oil per year. It is one of the important suppliers of petroleum products in southern Russia and participates in supplying the Russian army.
Ukrainian troops struck two enemy radar stations in the Novoshakhtinsk area, the 64L6 Gamma-S1 and 39N6 Kasta-2E2 systems.
"Operations against key military and infrastructure targets of the Russian aggressor continue," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized.
Overnight on September 25, drones attacked several regions of Russia. Explosions were reported in the areas of Sochi, Voronezh, Ulyanovsk, and Perm. The targets included oil refineries, as well as an enterprise belonging to the Almaz-Antey concern.
Last night, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck oil depots in the largest regions of Russia's Southern Federal District.
