Russia's demands for Ukraine to leave its own territories combined with a brutal attack show that Moscow is the obstacle to peace. Concessions will not stop Russian terror, according to Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha, on X.

"Yesterday’s Russian maximalist demands for Ukraine to withdraw from its regions, combined with these brutal strikes, show that Russia, not Ukraine, is the obstacle to peace. Moscow, not Kyiv, is where pressure should be applied," Sybiha emphasized.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that Kyiv experienced an especially terrible and loud night. Russian missiles and drones shelled other cities and settlements throughout Ukraine.

Sybiha stated that concessions to the demands of the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will not stop his terror.

"Putin demonstrates through his actions, not words, that he does not respect any peace efforts and only wants to continue the war. Weakness and concessions will not stop his terror and aggression. Only strength and pressure will," the minister emphasized.
