Ukrainian company Fire Point is expanding its production capacities beyond Ukraine. In Denmark, its local subsidiary is building a solid rocket fuel plant, which is intended to meet the needs of the company itself and potentially other manufacturers, according to Vector.
The project is being implemented by the Fire Point Rocket Technologies subsidiary, which is part of the parent company in Ukraine. Initially, the construction of the plant was estimated at €50 million. However, the cost of the project has since increased significantly and now exceeds €150 million.
The company has already obtained all the necessary permits to launch the project. According to Fire Point's Chief Operating Officer, Viacheslav Bondarchuk, the facility will have significant production capacity.
"We are going to open a plant here with enormous capacity to produce a lot of solid rocket fuel — first for Fire Point, and also to be able to supply other companies," he noted.

Fire Point CEO and CTO Iryna Terekh stated that the company's and the Ukrainian army's capabilities should not be measured solely by the number of specific missiles.
"We don't measure by missiles: number nine or number seven. We need to measure by capabilities," she explained.
According to Terekh, the Ukrainian army currently does not have the large-scale capability to strike Moscow with precision and without the possibility of interception of such targets.
The construction of the plant in Denmark is intended to provide Fire Point with additional production capabilities, particularly in the area of solid rocket fuel production.
What else is known about Fire Point's missile production
Ukraine has significantly increased strikes on Russia using Flamingo missiles. On the night of August 15, Ukraine struck the Progress Rocket and Space Center in Samara with a Flamingo missile, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported.
Earlier today, Fire Point co-owner Denis Shtilerman hinted at the possible use of Flamingo missiles against Russian Samara by publishing a video of the missile launch.
