Fire Point co-owner hints at Flamingo strike on aircraft plant in Samara

An explosion and fire were reported in Samara overnight on August 15, with local residents posting footage from the site of the missile attack. The possible strike may have targeted the Aviakor aircraft plant, according to Denis Shtilerman, one of the owners of Fire Point.
What is known about the possible strike
Residents of Samara reported an explosion and fire, posting videos captioned "after the missile attack."
Denis Shtilerman, one of the owners of Fire Point, hinted that the Flamingo missile may have been involved by posting a video of the missile's launch on X.
However, it is not yet known whether it was indeed a Flamingo missile.

What plant may have been hit
According to preliminary reports, the target may have been Aviakor, an aircraft plant that supplies parts to Russian aviation and has taken part in the modernization of bombers.
On August 15, explosions were reported in the Nizhny Novgorod region, and Savasleyka may have come under attack. This was not the first recent strike by Ukrainian drones against Russia's military and energy infrastructure.
In early August, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck the Saratov oil refinery, the Engels airfield and an oil depot in Russia's Kaluga region. Shortly afterward, major fires also broke out at the Gvardeyskoye military airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea following a series of powerful explosions.
