Ukraine's Ambassador to Germany about slow counteroffensive cause: Hesitant Western military support
One of the reasons for the current challenges in the Ukrainian Armed Forces' counteroffensive is the hesitant military support from Western partners, states Ukraine's Ambassador to Germany, Oleksii Makieiev, according to Merkur.
"Russia had time to build barricades," he said, referring to the reasons for the slow counteroffensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Additionally, the hesitant military support from Western countries is also one of the reasons for the slow counteroffensive.
"A lot of time has been spent on training and equipping Ukrainian brigades, advancing brigades."
According to Makieiev, these brigades are now equipped with a lot of Western weaponry and ammunition.
The ambassador also mentioned the ongoing debates in Germany regarding the supply of armored vehicles and anti-aircraft systems.
Counteroffensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Recently, Ukrainian troops entered the settlement of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region and raised the Ukrainian flag there.
Furthermore, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to advance on the flanks near Bakhmut. According to the military command, there have been successes in that area as well.
