On the night of May 25, Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine. Videos have emerged showing the police response in the first minutes after the strikes in Kyiv and Mykolaiv, informs First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department, Oleksii Biloshytskyi.

"A night of massive attacks: we were there from the first minutes. We provided assistance at the sites of the strikes. We evacuated people, organized the passage of special equipment, and helped rescuers," Biloshytskyi wrote.

He also shared two videos capturing police work at the attack sites in Kyiv and Mykolaiv.

In the first video, police officers evacuated residents from a burning building following the strike. Later, after reports of a second attack, the officers inside a vehicle experienced another enemy hit.

In the second video, police officers moved to a shelter and asked if anyone was injured in the attack. They also helped evacuate people.

Along with sharing the footage, Biloshytskyi summarized the situation. He said the enemy attacked 13 regions of Ukraine. These included the city of Kyiv, as well as Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Sumy, and Poltava regions.

"More than 80 houses were destroyed, with at least 27 fires reported. Twelve people were killed, including three children from one family, in the Zhytomyr region. More than 70 people were affected, and over 60 were wounded," he added.
