Ukrainian strikes on targets inside Russia have significantly reduced missile production and cut Russian oil exports, says Andriy Kovalenko, head of Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation.

"Nearly 40% of monthly missile production and about 45% of oil exports have already been lost by Russia as a result of Ukrainian strikes on their facilities and logistics," he said.

Strikes on chemical giants

Recently, Ukrainian drones have increasingly targeted Russia's critical infrastructure, inflicting significant damage on its industrial capacity.

As previously reported by the CCD head, over the past month, Ukrainian forces have successfully struck at least five Russian chemical industry plants, some of them multiple times.

These enterprises are key links in the ammunition production chain, and their shutdown effectively disrupts further manufacturing.

According to Kovalenko, microelectronics producers and facilities of the Votkinsk plant, where Iskander and Oreshnik missiles are manufactured, have also come under fire.

Strikes on Russian oil facilities

Ukrainian drones have also been attacking the Leningrad region for seven consecutive days. On March 29, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) reported a successful strike on the infrastructure of the Ust-Luga port oil terminal.

Satellite images from Planet Labs dated March 30 confirm large-scale fires at the Primorsk and Ust-Luga ports following drone attacks.

On the night of March 31, explosions and heavy gunfire were again heard over Ust-Luga, as well as in the Kirishi, Luzhsky, and Tosnensky districts.

The Ust-Luga port is one of Russia's largest Baltic Sea ports and a key hub for oil product exports, located about 1,000 km from the Ukrainian border.

Earlier, on March 28, reports emerged of a strike on the Yaroslavl oil refinery, which is strategically important for supplying fuel to Russian forces.

This followed an attack on March 26 on the Kirishi oil refinery in the Leningrad region, one of Russia's three largest refineries, which caused a massive fire.
