Drones hit Ust-Luga port once more, triggering blaze

On the night of March 29, drones once again attacked Leningrad region in Russia, causing a fire at the Ust-Luga port, according to Leningrad region governor, Alexander Drozdenko.
An air raid alert was declared in Leningrad region around 2:00 a.m. Kyiv time.
Along with the alert, Drozdenko warned of possible "slower mobile internet speeds."
At 5:00 a.m., the governor stated that 27 drones were reportedly destroyed over the region.
He also added that the Ust-Luga port was damaged in the attack, and a fire broke out there.
Around 7:00 a.m., Drozdenko reported that 31 drones were reportedly neutralized.
He added that "rescuers are working to extinguish the fire at the Ust-Luga port."
Drone attacks on Ust-Luga port
It should be recalled that on March 25, a fire broke out at Ust-Luga port following a drone attack.
On the night of March 27, the oil-loading ports at Ust-Luga and Primorsk were attacked by unknown drones for a second time.
The Ust-Luga port is one of Russia's largest ports on the Baltic Sea and a key hub for the export of Russian oil products, located about 1,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
