Ukraine is negotiating security assurances with 10 states
The President's Office said that Ukraine is currently negotiating security assurances with ten states.
"Countries are even competing to see who can sign the agreement with Ukraine the fastest. To date, 7 such agreements have already been signed, 5 of them with the Group of Seven countries," Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Ihor Zhovkva said.
He said that Ukraine is currently negotiating security agreements with 10 other countries.
"We are continuing our work, as of today the delegation is negotiating with ten countries, but we will not announce the progress of the negotiations," he said.
Security assurances for Ukraine
At the NATO Summit in Vilnius, the G7 countries signed a declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine, which was later joined by a number of other countries.
The agreement covers not only military assistance but also financial and economic support, as well as the restoration of Ukraine. In addition, the agreements provide a guarantee of assistance to Kyiv in the event of repeated Russian aggression.
