Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out a series of effective strikes overnight on February 2 against command posts and logistics facilities of Russian forces, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Strikes in the Donetsk region

According to the General Staff, near the settlement of Kurakhivka in the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk region, Ukrainian units struck two enemy command posts. These included facilities at the regimental and divisional levels.

In addition, hits were recorded in the same area on an enemy ammunition depot that was supplying the Russian army units.

Attacks on UAV control points

Ukrainian defenders are also continuing systematic efforts to destroy the enemy’s drone warfare capabilities. Defense Forces units struck Russian drone control points in the areas of:

  • Uspenivka (Zaporizhzhia region);
  • Huliaipole (Zaporizhzhia region).

Losses among Russian forces as a result of the attacks are still being clarified. The General Staff emphasized that such operations are aimed at undermining the offensive potential of the Russian army.

Strikes on key Russian targets

On January 31, it became known that Ukrainian forces carried out a series of successful attacks on enemy military facilities both in temporarily occupied territories and deep inside Russia.

In particular, in the Luhansk region near Kamianka, a Tor-M1 surface-to-air missile system was hit.

In addition, precise strikes were carried out against command posts and depots in Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions. At that time, drone control points were destroyed in the areas of Rivnopillia and Sluchovsk.
