Ukraine expects high-level Polish military delegation this week

Ukraine expects a delegation of Polish military personnel to arrive this week. They will study Ukraine's experience in countering Russian air attacks, said Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi.
"The minister announced last week during the visit of his Polish counterpart, Radosław Sikorski, that a Polish delegation would come to study our experience. As of now, there is a date for the delegation's visit, there are details, but since we do not announce such visits for security reasons, I cannot go into details," Tykhyi said.
He clarified that the Polish delegation will be "high-level." Further details will be provided by the Ministry of Defense together with Minister Denys Shmyhal.
According to the MFA spokesperson, during the visit of the Polish delegation, further plans for joint work on strengthening airspace security may also be discussed.
Announcement of the visit of the Polish delegation
Last week, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that on September 18, a delegation of Polish military officials is expected to visit Ukraine.
According to the Ukrainian minister, the Poles are expected to learn from Ukrainian forces how to shoot down Russian drones.
He noted that Ukraine is ready to share its experience with partners.
During the Russian drone attack on Poland on the night of September 10, air defense forces managed to shoot down only four.
