Polish military delegation to visit Ukraine next week, says Ukrainian FM

On Thursday, September 18, a military delegation from Poland will arrive in Ukraine. They will train with Ukrainian defenders on how to shoot down Russian drones, said Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha at a press conference.
"The Ukrainian side informed the Polish side in advance about these drones entering Polish airspace. We expect the arrival of the Polish military delegation on Thursday so they can work with our troops," Sybiha said.
He noted that currently, only Ukraine has the necessary experience to counter such threats.
"I’ll remind you that during the last attack, around 800 drones were used against us. And look at our success rate. So our experience - unfortunately, war has this side, when we get daily combat experience - is also our contribution to our shared security," the minister emphasized.
Sybiha added that partners understand this and "we are ready to share our experience and work on minimizing and neutralizing these threats, which endanger our common security space."
Ukraine will train Polish soldiers to shoot down drones
After Russian drone attacks on eastern regions of Poland on September 10, the foreign ministers of the Lublin Triangle countries called on partners to urgently strengthen Ukraine’s air defense due to the escalation of the war and rising tensions.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine is open to cooperation in shooting down all types of drones.
Poland’s Ministry of Defense reported that planned drone-shooting training for Ukrainian and Polish specialists will take place in Poland. The parties are currently coordinating the format and areas of cooperation.
