Ukraine develops NATO-standard analogs of Mavic drone
Ukraine has developed three analogs of the Chinese Mavic drone. The drones meet NATO standards and have EW protection and automatic landing, according to Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov.
According to him, participants of the Brave1 initiative have been working on a Mavic analog since early summer. Three such Ukrainian drones are now operating on the frontlines: the Linza and Zoom from Frontline and the Shmavik from Reactive Drones.
"These drones are adapted to wartime realities, featuring communication systems resistant to enemy electronic warfare, automatic landing, and a 'return home' mode," Fedorov said.
A significant portion of the components is also produced by Ukrainian manufacturers.
In two and a half years of war, Ukrainian experts have outpaced Russia in technology. Reconnaissance and strike drones, long-range UAVs, FPV drones, and devices to neutralize enemy equipment have changed the course of the war. Ukraine is setting the "tech trends" for modern warfare, and drone production has become large-scale. In August, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the first use of the Ukrainian drone missile Palianytsia.
In early October, Zelenskyy said that Ukraine had created a new ballistic missile and that it had already passed flight tests.
