The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Special Group Alpha destroyed four S-400 Triumf missile launchers and two radars in Novorossiysk yesterday, according to the RBC-Ukraine sources.

Satellite images confirm that four S-400 Triumf surface-to-air missile launchers were successfully destroyed. They were stationed on the grounds of a Kuban Red Banner regiment military base. The enemy also lost two key radars: an early-warning 96N6 Cheese Board and a target-acquisition 92N6 Grave Stone.

In total, approximately 12 S-400 Triumf launchers were deployed at the base. It is highly likely that additional units were damaged in the attack.

The operation was carried out by the SBU with support from the Security and Defense Forces, including the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, the Special Operations Forces, and the State Border Guard Service.

"The SBU continues its systematic work to destroy enemy air defense systems that protect critical military, infrastructure, and logistics targets. Every system destroyed creates a gap in the defense that Ukrainian drones and missiles will exploit," an informed source said.

Attack on Novorossiysk

On the night of November 14, the SBU and the Defense Forces attacked Novorossiysk. In addition to the above, a special operation targeted the Russian port of Novorossiysk, through which the Kremlin exports oil and gas.

By morning, media reports indicated that the drone attack had halted oil exports. Two Reuters sources said that Transneft had suspended oil deliveries to the port. Later, Reuters reported that the strike on Novorossiysk port disrupted 2% of global oil shipments and caused a rise in global prices.

It is also reported that a state of emergency was declared in Novorossiysk after the attack. Russian media reported fires not only at the port but also at a nearby refinery.
