London will play a "full part" in supporting peace in Ukraine, including the deployment of British troops, stated UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, according to Sky News.

According to him, he does not want to get ahead of themselves, but London will play a "full part" in any peace negotiations, including through the deployment of British troops to support peace, as the war in Ukraine is also affecting his country, including the cost-of-living crisis.

"It's about what the impact is back in the United Kingdom and our values, our freedom, our democracy," Starmer emphasized.

In his opinion, if Russia succeeds in this aggression, "it will impact all of us for a very, very long time".

Starmer in Kyiv

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer arrived on an official visit to Ukraine on January 16. Ukraine and the UK signed an agreement on a 100-year partnership. Later, the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, announced that this was the first time such an agreement had been signed and that this practice would likely be extended to other countries.

On January 16, explosions were heard in Kyiv. An air alert was declared in the capital and parts of Ukraine's regions during Starmer's visit.
