Trump supporter in US Congress launches investigation over Zelenskyy's visit to Pennsylvania
In the US, an investigation has been launched into the alleged involvement of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in interfering with US elections. This followed his visit to an ammunition plant in Pennsylvania, according to the Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, James Comer.
Comer announced that he is launching an investigation into Zelenskyy's visit to the ammunition plant in Pennsylvania regarding interference in the US elections.
He stated that he has already sent a request to the White House, the Department of Defense, and the Department of Justice regarding the alleged misuse of government resources by the administration of President Joe Biden and presidential candidate and current Vice President Kamala Harris, which he claims supposedly enabled Zelenskyy to interfere in the presidential elections.
"If the Biden-Harris Administration attempted to use a foreign leader to benefit the Vice President’s presidential campaign, this is an abuse of power and misuse of taxpayer dollars," he noted.
It is worth noting that Pennsylvania is one of the "swing" states that will determine the outcome of this year's elections in the US.
RBC-Ukraine reported that Zelenskyy recently visited a factory in the US that produces shells for Ukraine.
