Zelenskyy promises big surprises for Russians as Ukraine pushes in Donbas

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukrainian forces have made significant progress in Donbas. Russian troops can expect "unpleasant surprises" ahead.
President Zelenskyy said Ukrainian forces are seeing very positive results in Donbas. He added that they are preparing unwelcome developments for Russian troops.
"Today, we have, I believe, very, very positive results in Donbas. Good surprises for the Russians. I think the Commander-in-Chief will provide all the details later," the president said.
Frontline situation
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, nearly 180 combat clashes were recorded on the front over the past day. Most attacks took place in the Lyman, Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk, and Novopavlivka directions.
Yesterday, the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported regaining control over the village of Zelenyi Hai in the Donetsk region.
Earlier, Ukrainian troops cleared six positions in the Donetsk region. Defense forces continue stabilization operations in the so-called Dobropillia salient.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian border guards demonstrated how they destroyed a column of Russian forces on motorcycles.
