Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev threatens that Iran may receive nuclear weapons from other countries in the future. Such threats are very careless, according to US President Donald Trump.

Medvedev's threats

On June 22, Medvedev wrote that after the US strikes on Iran, a number of countries are ready to supply Iranian troops with nuclear weapons.

He added that Iran itself would also continue its attempts to produce its nuclear weapons.

Trump's reaction

"Did I hear Former President Medvedev, from Russia, casually throwing around the "N word" (Nuclear!), and saying that he and other Countries would supply Nuclear Warheads to Iran? Did he really say that, or is it just a figment of my imagination? If he did say that, and, if confirmed, please let me know, IMMEDIATELY. The "N word" should not be treated so casually," Trump wrote.

In his opinion, that's why the "boss" in Russia is Vladimir Putin.

The American leader also added that the United States' nuclear submarines are the most powerful, most lethal, and most advanced weapons in existence, outpacing all other countries by 20 years.

"They are the most powerful and lethal weapons ever built, and just launched the 30 Tomahawks — all 30 hit their mark perfectly," Trump noted.

US-Russia relations

After Donald Trump officially became the 47th president of the United States, relations between Washington and Moscow shifted dramatically. The two sides resumed contact on matters of bilateral relations and Russia's war against Ukraine.

Trump believes this approach could help persuade Russia to engage in peaceful dialogue with Ukraine. However, he has so far refrained from imposing tough sanctions on Moscow.

Recently, the US President stated that he is holding off on sanctions against Russia because he is waiting for Moscow and Kyiv to reach a peace agreement.
