US President Donald Trump said that today’s meeting with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, sends a message to Russia that the war in Ukraine must end, according to Trump’s comment after the meeting, AFP reports.

Journalists asked the US president what message he would like to send to Russia after his meeting with Zelenskyy in Davos on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum.

"This war must end," Trump replied briefly.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump held a meeting in Davos on January 22. Ukraine’s President’s Office described the meeting between the two leaders as "good."

Trump also assessed today’s meeting with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum as very good. At the same time, he announced that he would meet with Russian representatives in the near future.

It is known that Trump’s special envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, plan to visit Moscow on January 22, which was confirmed by the Kremlin. At the same time, it is known that the latest version of the peace plan was recently handed over to the Russians.
