US President Donald Trump, during a board Air Force One, has said that the American peace plan to end the war between Ukraine and Russia, which initially consisted of 28 points, has been reduced to 22 points.

During a conversation with journalists, the American leader emphasized that the initial materials were only a basic outline.

"That was just a map. All that was, is a map. It was not a plan. That was a concept. And from there, they have taken each one of the 28 points, and then they got down to 22. A lot of them were solved, and actually, very favorably solved. So we'll see what happens," Trump said.

He also commented on reports of an alleged deadline to finalize an agreement linked to November 27.

"See what happens. They set a date, and that date is going to be sometime in the very near future… I don’t have a deadline. You know what the deadline for me is? When it’s over. And I think everybody is tired of fighting at this moment. They’re losing too many people," the US President stated.

Trump was separately asked whether the proposed approach would require excessive territorial concessions from Ukraine. He responded that the situation on the front is evolving in a certain direction.

"The way it's going, if you look, it is moving in one direction. So, eventually, that's land that over the next couple of months might be gottent by Russia anyway. So do you want to fight and lose another 50–60 thousand people?' Trump stressed.

US peace plan

Western media recently published a new peace plan aimed at ending the war in Ukraine. It consisted of 28 points, most of which contradict Ukraine’s interests.

Following the publication of the document, Ukrainian–American negotiations began in Geneva and continued on November 23–24. After the consultations, the initial version of the plan was reduced from 28 to 19 points.

The Ukrainian delegation, after the meetings, reported a "understanding regarding the key conditions of the agreement discussed in Geneva" and noted that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy may visit the United States "at the earliest possible date in November" for further talks with Trump.
